Food Growing Strategy Workshop

Dumfries and Galloway Council is holding a stakeholder workshop as part of developing a Food Growing Strategy for the region. 

Representatives with an interest in many different forms of gardening are invited to attend. This could include anyone involved in:

  • allotments
  • permaculture gardening
  • orchards
  • school gardening projects
  • social enterprises
  • guerrilla gardening

The meeting will include some scene setting followed by a workshop to look at different aspects of growing, harvesting and using food grown in the region.

  • Time: 9.30am until 1pm
  • Venue: Threave Gardens, Castle Douglas
Places must be booked in advance and there is a limit of two attendees per organisation.  Places will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
