As many of you will already be aware, Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight is returning this year, and will run from 3-18 September.
The website for the event can be found here: http://fooddrinkfort.scot/
Dumfries & Galloway businesses who participate in the DG Food Trail website may find that their regular events are already listed as part of the Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight programme, as will farmers' markets across the region.
Therefore, please check the website to ensure your event has been listed correctly, and if there are any errors or if you would like your listing removed, please advise Scotland Food & Drink. We have not supplied any data to Scotland Food & Drink (nor would we without your knowledge and consent) so if event information has been pulled from the Food Trail or DG Markets website, there may well be copying errors.
If you are interested in taking part in the Food Fortnight, details of how to do so can be found here: http://fooddrinkfort.scot/get-involved/
Please note that this is the national food event, it is not Flavour Fortnight which ran locally in Dumfries & Galloway 2010-2013. This national programme can be useful in terms of providing a reason to host a special event or activity, but be aware that to derive benefit from taking part, you should be prepared to market your event or activity yourself.
