Dumfries and Galloway Council have announced the programme of events that comprise Business Week 2017 and there are a large number of events that are likely to be of interest to businesses in the food and drink and hospitality sectors. Booking is required for all these events, and early booking is recommended for many of them as several events were filled to capacity at an early stage last year.
Masterchef Live Demonstration 3rd Oct, 6pm-9pm at Easterbrook Hall, Dumfries
With Gary Maclean, winner of Masterchef: The Professionals 2016. Gary will be demonstrating some dishes using Dumfries and Galloway Produce and he will be sharing his views on how we can champion good food across our industry.
Raising Finance for Food and Drink Growth 4th Oct, 6.30pm-8pm at Creative Whisky Company, Thornhill
Access to capital can be one of the biggest stumbling blocks to growth for food and drink producers. This event focusses on 'Success through Investment' and will explore sources of funding and preparing for investment.
