Food and drink businesses are being encouraged to make the most of their attendance at trade shows and exhibitions, by participating in a free specialised workshop.
Taking place on 6th August in Edinburgh and organised by Scottish Enterprise Food & Drink Network, this workshop would be useful for new exhibitors, and for people who have attended a number of shows in the past but would like to sharpen their skills and check that they are "doing it right".
At exhibitions and events, you only have one chance to stop the customer as they walk past your stand. Then, within a small amount of time, you have to create a great impression and take the discussion to the next level. This workshop is designed for businesses in the food and drink sector, where often one positive contact can lead to a significant stream of revenue.
An interactive format ensures all delegates are participants, so have opportunities to practise techniques and rehearse for the stand. You will learn the structure of selling on stands and a range of tips and techniques that will lead to more sales opportunities.
This event will be in high demand and places are limited to two attendees per company.
